Mechanical Engineer

To design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems and products within the organization.
Duties:
 Plan, coordinate, monitor, and schedule projects for the various engineering site teams.
 Assessing project requirements.
 Monitor all subcontractors to ensure that they are working according to timing, standards, and specifications.
 Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
 Prepare shop drawings.
 Prepare materials requests for the teams.
 Prepare Auto Cad drawings for project.
 Attend client and site meetings.
 Prepare snag lists.
 Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
 Perform any other duties that may be assigned by management
 Ensure that the right materials are used in the projects and quality standards are applied and as per approved forms signed by clients/consultants.
 Prepare weekly task sheets for the various supervisors.
 Receive daily reports from the various supervisors.
 Conduct bi-monthly audit using the daily reports to identify areas in need of improvement in various projects.
 Visit the sites bi-monthly to audit material use on the site to ensure that there are no wastage and total material used conforms to the BOQ.
