Job Description
A progressive school in Accra is recruiting newly qualified and creative Primary class teachers for immediate employment.
Interest in technology, Computer skills, Jolly Phonics training and knowledge of the British curriculum preferred.
Mature candidates are also welcome.

-committed to teaching through play strategies
-punctual, disciplined and reliable
Duties will include to:
-teach the curriculum and extracurricular activities as required
-organize the classroom and learning resources to encourage a positive learning environment
-plan, prepare and present lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class
-motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
-maintain discipline and act as an appropriate role model for pupils
-prepare and mark work to facilitate positive pupil development
-ensure that pupils are safe and that all child protection and safeguarding measures are followed in accordance with school and national policies
-provide feedback to parents and carers on a pupil’s progress at parents’ evenings and other meetings
-liaise with colleagues to coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and
-keep up to date with the changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
-organize and take part in school events, outings and activities
