Savannah International Academy is seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Cambridge Homeroom Tutor. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Early Years Education and a proven track record of delivering engaging and effective instruction based on the Cambridge Primary Curriculum.
Start Date: 28th February 2025

Location: Savannah International Academy, Tamale, Ghana
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum, ensuring the holistic development of students.
Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity and a love for learning.
Assess students’ progress regularly and provide timely feedback to support their academic and personal development.
Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and school leadership to ensure student success.
Organise and participate in co-curricular activities to enhance learning experiences.
Maintain professionalism by staying up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications & Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a Cambridge Primary setting.
Strong understanding of the Cambridge International Curriculum and early years pedagogy.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft 365 and digital learning tools.
Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.

Savannah International Academy is looking for passionate and committed Homeroom Assistants to support the Year 1 through to Year 3 Cambridge Homeroom Tutors. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in early childhood education and a willingness to assist in fostering a positive learning environment.
Start Date: 28th February 2025

Location: Savannah International Academy, Tamale, Ghana
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Homeroom Tutors in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
Support individual and group learning by reinforcing concepts and providing additional assistance to students as needed.
Help create a structured and organised classroom environment that enhances student learning.
Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.
Supervise students during feeding times and school activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Collaborate with the teacher and school staff to support students’ academic and social development.
Qualifications & Experience:
A diploma or certificate in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a related field.
Be an individual who has great organizational skills and the ability to keep class in good order.
Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is an advantage.
A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic attitude towards working with children.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft 365 and digital learning tools.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
