PRO BONO: This position is tailored to a professional who wants to give back special skills and has the right degree and professional experience. The ideal candidate has artistic vision, story narration/crafting, and video editing software experience and will be responsible for processing and communicating key clips through text, video, and visuals with UniversalGiving®’s team and external stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Film UniversalGiving®’s team during speaking engagements and events, both online and in-person.
- Edit and splice videos to create polished and engaging final products in collaboration with UniversalGiving®.
- Produce high-quality, platform-specific videos for social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Ensure all video content reflects UniversalGiving®’s mission, values, and brand voice.
- Transform raw footage into visually appealing, cohesive stories that resonate with audiences.
- Add graphics, text overlays, subtitles, and animations to enhance video engagement and accessibility.
- Stay informed about social media trends to create fresh, relevant content.
- Collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to ensure videos align with campaign goals and messaging.
- Manage multiple video projects with tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Maintain and update the Speaking Engagement/Event spreadsheet with detailed information, including videos, photos, and descriptions.
- Upload videos across all social media channels with inspiring, clear messaging that amplifies UniversalGiving®’s mission.

Qualifications
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in filming and video editing, with a focus on creating content for social media platforms.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Davinci Resolve Studio, HitFilm, Lightworks, or similar tools.
- Social Media Expertise: Proven ability to craft engaging and impactful video content tailored to social media audiences.
- Audience Focus: Skilled at creating content that resonates with non-profit audiences and aligns with organizational values.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong visual design skills with excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational capabilities.
- Equipment: Must have access to personal video equipment and reliable transportation.
- Passion for Purpose: Interest in and commitment to nonprofit work, international issues, volunteering, and philanthropy.
- Mission Alignment: Full support of UniversalGiving®'s mission and vision.
- Creative Storytelling: A strong creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual communication.
- Preferred Experience: Familiarity with non-profit messaging or work within a mission-driven organization.

Duration and Location
- The position is available part-time (5-20 hours per week)
- Minimum 6 months commitment
- We provide remote positions with a highly globally focused team from more than 20 countries, including Russia, China, Japan, Ukraine, Georgia, the Philippines, Haiti, Germany, Canada, the Kurdish population, South Korea, the U.K., Brazil, and many more.
