Savannah International Academy is seeking a passionate and nurturing Crèche Teacher to join our
Early Years team. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a deep commitment to early childhood
development and possess the training and skills required to provide a safe, engaging, and
supportive learning environment for infants and toddlers.

Location: Savannah International Academy, Tamale, Ghana
Key Responsibilities
 Provide age-appropriate care and learning experiences for children aged 6 months to 2 years.
 Create a warm and secure environment that promotes emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
 Develop and implement a daily routine that includes structured activities, free play, rest, and
mealtimes.
 Monitor and document children’s progress and developmental milestones.
 Maintain eAective communication with parents and caregivers regarding children's wellbeing
and development.
 Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high standard of care across the Early
Years section.
 Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and child protection policies.
Qualifications & Experience
 A valid certificate from the National Nursery Teachers’ Training Centre (NNTTC) or a Diploma in
Early Childhood Education.
 Minimum of 2 years of experience working with infants and toddlers in a crèche or nursery
setting.
 Strong understanding of child development and early years learning practices.
 Ability to work with sensitivity, patience, and professionalism.
 Good communication and record-keeping skills.
 Basic proficiency in the use of digital tools (e.g. Microsoft 365) is an added advantage.
 First Aid and CPR certification (preferred or to be trained on).
