Savannah International Academy is looking for a dedicated and highly qualified English Teacher with proven expertise in preparing students for Cambridge IGCSE. The applicant must have a track record of delivering excellent results, and must be able to prove these results in the following the subject area to join our academic team.

Location: Savannah International Academy, Tamale, Ghana
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and activities that align with Cambridge standards.
Deliver engaging and rigorous instruction at the IGCSE, aligned with Cambridge curriculum standards, using a variety of teaching methods including Active learning to engage students and meet their needs.
Prepare students thoroughly for IGCSE, with a focus on achieving high outcomes.
Track and analyze student progress, offering timely feedback and support as needed.
Organize subject-related activities to enhance understanding and practical application of course concepts.
Maintain professionalism by staying current with new teaching methodologies and subject area developments.
Support co-curricular and extracurricular initiatives to foster student engagement and passion for learning.
Qualifications & Experience:
A Bachelor's degree or higher in the subject area or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching IGCSE.
Proven track record of student success in external examinations.
Strong familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
Knowledge on the use of Microsoft 365.
Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
