Forklift operators

Job Summary
Responsible for operating forklifts or industrial trucks to handle loading, unloading, and movement of goods within a warehouse, factory, or storage facility. Ensures safety, efficiency, and compliance with operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Safely load and unload goods from trucks, containers, pallets, and storage areas.

Transport materials to designated areas within the facility (e.g., production line, storage racks, loading bay).

Perform pre‑operational inspections and basic forklift maintenance, such as checking brakes, hydraulics, tires, and reporting any mechanical issues.

Follow safety protocols and health regulations to minimize accidents or product damage.

Maintain clean and organized work environment, including stacking and staging materials appropriately.

Document and report operational activities and issues accurately.

Assist with inventory control and stock-taking, ensuring proper logging of materials received or dispatched.

Possibly assist in other warehouse tasks such as packing, unpacking, housekeeping, or communicating with team members and supervisors for seamless operations.
