Summary:
We are currently seeking experienced Fitters to join our team in the Metals / Steel Manufacturing industry. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance and repairs on steel manufacturing equipment
• Assemble and install machinery according to specifications
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address issues
• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve equipment efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Fitter in the Metals / Steel Manufacturing industry
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Certification in relevant technical training programs
