Job Summary:
Reliance Personnel Services is seeking a dynamic Metal Scrap Procurement Specialist to join our team in the Metals/ Steel Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring metal scrap materials to meet the company's production needs.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and develop relationships with metal scrap suppliers
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement
• Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions
• Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand production requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the mining or metals industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of metal scrap materials and market trends
Skills:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
