Job Description

A Bank Teller is responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring accuracy and security of financial operations, including deposits, withdrawals, and other banking services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
• Always maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
• Assist customers with various banking needs, including making deposits, and withdrawing funds.
• Accurately process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and wire transfers.
• Verify signatures and account details to ensure accuracy and security.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Handle cash and checks securely and accurately.
• Balance cash drawers at the end of each shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services to customers.
• Refer customers to appropriate departments or personnel when necessary.
• Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
• Report any suspicious activity or potential fraud to management.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to handle cash and checks securely.
• Knowledge of banking procedures and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a customer service or banking environment is a plus.
