Mason

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans.

Measure, cut, and lay bricks, blocks, and stones according to specifications.

Mix and apply mortar, cement, and other binding materials.

Construct walls, partitions, floors, pavements, and other masonry structures.

Repair and maintain existing masonry work, including re-pointing and patching.

Ensure alignment, level, and plumb of all masonry structures.

Operate hand tools, power tools, and masonry equipment safely.

Maintain cleanliness and organization at the work site.

Follow safety regulations and company standards at all times.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a mason or in construction work.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in masonry.

Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and work long hours.

Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Basic mathematical skills for measurement and layout.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
