Job Description
Location: Takoradi
DEPARTMENT: Safety
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Policy Development: Formulate and improve safety management systems and operational procedures based on laws, regulations, and company requirements.
2.Safety Training: Organize safety training and drills to enhance employees' safety awareness and emergency response capabilities.
3.Safety Inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections and hazard assessments, identifying and rectifying safety hazards in a timely manner.
4.Accident Handling: Investigate and analyze safety incidents, develop corrective measures, and prevent recurrence.
5.Data Analysis: Collect and analyze safety-related data, provide safety management reports, and suggest improvements.
6.Equipment Management: Supervise and manage the use and maintenance of safety equipment, ensuring proper operation.
7.Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on and comply with national and local safety regulations to ensure company operations are compliant.
8.Communication and Coordination: Communicate and coordinate with various departments to promote safety culture and enhance safe production practices.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. have a minimum of masters degree and a NEBOSH IGC.
2. at least 3years working experience in a supervisory role
3. Experience from a manufacturing industry is an added advantage
4. understanding of safety protocol protocols, safe management systems, leadership, risk management
