Job Description

A reputable rice production company is seeking for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) Ashanti region to be precise.

Major Responsibilities;

1. Responsible for leading a team of sales representatives to achieve sales goals and expand the company's presence within the Ashanti region.

2. Create and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.

3. Establish and communicate sales goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to the sales team.

4. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.

5. Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve sales targets and improve performance.

6. Recruit, hire, and onboard new sales representatives to expand the team.

7. Conduct regular performance reviews to assess sales performance, provide feedback, and set goals.

8. Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including sales revenue, customer acquisition, and sales funnel activity.

9. Identify performance gaps and develop strategies to address them.

10. Design and implement sales incentive programs to motivate the sales team.

11. Foster strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to drive sales growth.

12. Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns.

13. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.

14. Prepare and submit regular sales reports to senior management.

15. Manage sales budgets, including forecasting, planning, and controlling expenses.

16. Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including customer information, sales history, and sales pipeline data.

17. Representing the company*: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
