Industry: (Financial) Savings and Loans

Summary:
We are seeking the services of a smart, confident, performance-oriented and experienced professionals who will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the organization. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing risk management strategies to protect the company's assets and reputation.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential risks
• Monitor and analyze risks and report findings to senior management
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and action plans
• Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
• Collaborate with various departments to address risk-related issues
• Provide training and guidance on risk management best practices
• Evaluates, assesses, measures, and recommends actions to appropriate manage risks
• Responsible for ensuring the quality of the loan portfolio
• Prepares risk management strategies and policies to be followed by the company, and submits such strategies and policies for approval, monitoring and implementation
• Develops, updates the Risk Management Manual and ensure that it is complied with by all concerned
• Periodically reviews the country’s system of internal controls which shall promote effective and efficient operations, reliable financial and regulatory reporting and compliance with relevant laws, regulations and policies of the company
• Continuously evaluates the independence and overall effectiveness of the company's risk management functions
• Participate and periodic review and evaluation of all company policies and procedures developed for its key activities

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in managing risks in regulated financial intermediates.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of regulatory
• Certification in Risk Management (e.g. CRM, FRM) is a plus
• Good knowledge of the requirements of Bank of Ghana, and other regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Proficient in MS office applications
